U.S. Under Secretary Kanter to Address Mobilize.org’s Target 2020 Summit in Miami

U.S. Under Secretary of Education Martha Kanter will give the keynote address at Mobilize.org’s Target 2020 Summit at 6:30 p.m. ET on Friday, June 1, in Miami, Fla. She will discuss the Obama Administration’s initiatives to keep college affordable and boost college completion, as well as the vital role community colleges play in reaching the President’s goal to have the highest proportion of college graduates by 2020.

Mobilize.org is an organization that engages young adults in identifying problems and working collaboratively to implement solutions on their campuses and in their communities. Its Target 2020 Summit will bring together more than 100 community college students from across southern Florida to explore the barriers they face as they work to achieve their postsecondary education goals.
