U.S. Education Secretary to Discuss Education Reform at Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service Tribute

U.S. Education Secretary Arne Duncan will deliver brief remarks at the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service Tribute to Recent Collective Bargaining Successes on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 12 p.m., ET. In his remarks, Duncan will discuss the importance and power of labor-management collaboration in moving education reform. He will also address the important role FMCS has played in supporting this work at the national level and across the country.
FMCS is an independent federal agency designed to assist Labor and Management by minimizing interruptions of interstate commerce resulting from labor disputes through mediation.
